4 Ways to Eliminate Blackheads

Blackheads — no one wants them! Each time you stare in the mirror, you see them staring right back at you. Their favorite place is on your nose. It is their home, but now, you need to send them a notice to vacate it.

However, it will require force, not a court case. Here are a few natural ways you can use to kick out blackheads:

1. Exfoliate to Eliminate Blackheads

You can remove blackheads using milk and nutmeg. This combination is especially good for people with oily skin. Nutmeg eliminates the oil, scrubbing them off and giving you a glowing and supple skin. Milk, which contains lactic acid, breaks down old skin cells.

When you wash your face, water removes them. You can substitute milk for buttermilk, as it contains more lactic acid. You can use water and baking soda, sugar and lemon juice, or sour cream or salt. You can combine the ingredient that will scrub away the blackheads with your choice of wet ingredient.

Mix to form a thin paste, rinse your face with water, and exfoliate using light and circular movements, scrubbing for 3 to 5 minutes and then rinse. Do not scrub too roughly, as that will damage your skin.

2. Create a Honey Mask

Wash your face and dry it with a towel before you apply the honey mask. The honey you use needs to be extremely sticky. The stickier it is, the more effective it will be. Use a small amount of honey, pouring it on your fingers and applying it to the areas of your face with blackheads. The honey will stick to your pores and when you pull of the honey, it will remove the blackheads with it. You should do this for at least 3 minutes and then wash your face with water.

3. Use a Clay Mask

If you have an oily face, a clay mask will soak up the oils. To create a clay mask, get cosmetic clay and water. You can even use apple cider vinegar instead of water. If you want, add one drop of rose water or two drops of your favorite essential oil to the clay. However, this is not necessary.

Combine one tablespoon of clay with one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar or pure water. Stir until it forms a smooth paste and apply it to your face or just to the areas where you see blackheads. Leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes, until it dries completely. Soak a cloth in warm water and press it to the clay mask for two to three seconds, and then wipe it off.

4. Apply Egg Whites

If the smell of egg does not bother you, you can apply egg whites on your face, using your fingers, on a washed and dried face. Leave it to dry for 15 minutes.  Soak a cloth in warm water and use it to remove the egg whites gently.

Go ahead and use one of these ways to remove blackheads from your face and keep them from returning.
